Our Story

My father, Gary Suhl, wanted to give his kids and other kids in Osceola County a place to practice the sport of rodeo.  As the story goes on, the kids were making use of the new practice arena on a regular basis. People started to show up to watch the kids practice and socialize. An idea hit my father: Maybe we could start charging for admission and have people come watch these talented kids.  This was the dream of my father, so in 1992 we started off with seating for 200 people. Now we can seat 800 and have a 2,000 sq.ft. western saloon. During my father’s life we have had some of the contestants get their start here. These individuals have exceeded their abilities in rodeo. From  making it to the PBR, and or joining the PRCA, and some making it to the national finals in Las Vegas.

In July of 2017, my father passed away. I got together and with my wife  and daughter and asked  if they were willing to continue my father’s dream. The answer was yes! So now we will continue the family tradition of rodeo in our home town. We hope to send another generation of kids to the pinnacle of rodeo and hopefully for them to become world champion’s just like my father did. We invite you to see  “THE GREATEST SHOW ON DIRT” and we will see you soon… Jed Suhl
